While at Coe, Megan completed a counseling internship with Sedlacek Treatment Center. She went on to earn her master’s degree in mental health counseling and vocational rehabilitation. She is now a licensed mental health counselors and private practice owner of Compass Counseling and Behavioral Health.

Ben completed a Health and Science Internship through Coe, shadowing professionals at multiple dental practices in Cedar Rapids. Coe alum and member of the Board of Trustees, David Gehring ’86 connected Ben to these practices and welcomed him into his own! Ben is now in dental school at the University of Iowa.

Cedar Rapids Downtown Farmer's Market
This seasonal event takes place every other Saturday from late May to early September. It is one of the largest open-air markets in the Midwest featuring over 200 local vendors.
McGrath Amphitheatre

Willis Dady Homeless Services
Willis Dady’s mission is to provide shelter and prevention services to the homeless and near-homeless while empowering clients to break the cycle of homelessness and become self-sufficient. Cedar Rapids Civil Rights Commission | Sophie G. Belter ’16
In addition to a traditional interview, Sophie had to analyze a mock case and present a PowerPoint to the director before being hired as a paid intern. Her daily experience with the Cedar Rapids Civil Rights Commission helped her obtain a position with the city of Omaha Human Rights and Relations Department immediately after graduation.
